Director of Children's Ministry
Messiah UMC is seeking a faith-filled, caring, and innovative leader to develop and implement a Children's Ministry Plan for Messiah's growing Children's program. The Director of Children’s Ministry oversees programming that provides for faith development in young people from infancy to 6th grade empowering them to form a strong relationship with Jesus Christ. The Director will have a significant role in establishing and executing the Children’s Ministry Plan in coordination with the Pastors, Staff, Laity and Youth Council. Facilites Manager
Messiah UMC is seeking an organized, strategic, project-oriented thinker to serve as Facilities Manager. The Facilities Manager works with and under the fiscal direction of the Board of Trustees (BOT) to ensure that Messiah’s physical plant, grounds, and church owned properties are maintained at a high level of appearance, cleanliness, safety, security and operation. Key qualifications for the role include: prior experience in project management; knowledge and practical skills for completion of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, painting, landscaping, and roofing work; ability to interpret instruction manuals for HVAC, security, and fire safety systems; the ability to effectively prioritize work and to complete work according to a schedule.
